For removal companies and man-and-van services

Get your removals firm recommended by AI

Moving home is stressful, and people plan it with lots of questions: who can move a three-bed house next Friday, who does storage, who will take a piano. Some of those questions now go to an AI assistant first, and the answer usually names only a few firms. Here is what tends to decide whether yours is one of them.

The check is free. Paid help has fixed prices: the full audit is £395 + VAT, one-off (pilot £195 + VAT for our first 5 clients). See all prices.

Questions customers ask AI

Typical examples of what people type or say to an AI assistant when they need a removals firm:

  • “Can you recommend a removals company in [your town] for a three-bed house move?”
  • “Is there a reliable man and van near me for a one-bedroom flat?”
  • “Which removal firms in [your town] also offer storage?”
  • “Who does packing and long-distance moves from [your town] to Scotland?”

What AI assistants tend to look at

  • Your Google Business Profile with the right category and each service listed separately (house moves, flat moves, man and van, packing, storage, long-distance, office moves) plus the area you are based in and cover.
  • Insurance and memberships stated accurately: goods in transit and public liability cover, and any trade body you really belong to, such as the British Association of Removers, matching its own member search.
  • How quoting works, in plain words: video survey, home survey or phone quote, what is included, and how far ahead people should book. You do not need to publish prices.
  • What you will and will not move (pianos, garden sheds, fragile antiques) and whether you dismantle and reassemble furniture. These are exactly the details people ask about.
  • Reviews that say what was moved and where to, such as "two-bed flat from [town] to Leeds, nothing broken". You cannot write them, but you can ask every customer.

What a good answer looks like

Example only: fictional town and businesses

Who can do a three-bed house move from Puddlecombe next month, with storage?

Removal firms in the area that mention house moves and storage include:

Tea Chest Removals: house moves, packing service and containerised storage, home or video surveys, goods in transit insurance, based in Puddlecombe.

Big Lift Man & Van: small flat moves, local only.

The firm named first answers the whole question, size of move, storage and area, in plain words on its own pages.

What we don't promise

We never guarantee a place in an AI answer. AI assistants decide for themselves, and nobody can promise what they will say. What we sell is careful checking, real fixes and honest measurement.

Four things you can do this week

  1. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity two or three of the questions above, with your own town. Ask each more than once, because answers change.
  2. Write down which firms get named instead of you. Note whether they are local movers or national comparison sites.
  3. Check your Google Business Profile lists each service separately, including storage and packing if you offer them.
  4. Ask the customers from your last five moves for a review that says what you moved and from where to where.

Rather we looked for you?

Start with the free check: we ask ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini questions like the ones above about your business and email you what they said. Four tiny steps; your details come last.

Step 1 of 4: Your trade

What’s your trade?

One tap. We use it to write the questions your customers would ask.

What you get

  • A handful of real customer-style questions about your trade and area, put to ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
  • A plain-English summary by email: were you named, and who was named instead.
  • An honest view on whether a full audit is worth it for you. Sometimes it is not, and we will say so.

Questions

Comparison and quote sites get named a lot. Can a local firm compete?

Comparison sites publish a great deal, so they are often mentioned. A complete profile with your real services, area and specific reviews gives an assistant a genuine local firm to name. We cannot promise it will.

Should I mention every type of move I do?

Mention every type you want more of, on its own line or page. "Removals" alone does not say whether you do one-room flats, offices or long-distance moves.

Is trade association membership worth stating?

If you are a member, yes: name it on your website and profile, matching the association’s own records. Never claim a membership you do not hold.

Can you guarantee AI will recommend my removals firm?

No. Nobody honestly can. We check where you stand, fix what is likely holding you back and measure again.
