For hair salons and barbers
Get your salon or barbershop recommended by AI
Questions like "good barber near me that takes walk-ins?" are now asked of AI assistants as well as search engines and booking apps. The answer usually names just a few places. Here is what tends to decide whether yours is one of them.
The check is free. Paid help has fixed prices: the full audit is £395 + VAT, one-off (pilot £195 + VAT for our first 5 clients). See all prices.
Questions customers ask AI
Typical examples of what people type or say to an AI assistant when they need a hairdresser or barber:
- “Is there a good barber in [your town] that takes walk-ins?”
- “Which hairdresser near me is good with curly hair?”
- “Where can I get a balayage in [your town] on a Saturday?”
- “Somewhere near me that is patient with children's first haircuts?”
What AI assistants tend to look at
- Your Google Business Profile: the right category (Hair salon or Barber shop), up-to-date opening hours including late nights, whether you take walk-ins, and a booking link.
- Your services and prices as real text on your website, not only inside a booking app, so they can be read. Name the things people ask for, such as curly hair, colour, fades or children's cuts.
- Reviews that mention the service and the stylist ("lovely balayage", "great with my nervous son"). Ask happy clients; never offer anything in return for a good review.
- Photos of your own work and your salon, kept up to date on your Google profile and website.
- Consistent details on the booking and listing sites you already use, so every source tells the same story.
What a good answer looks like
Example only: fictional town and businesses
Any barbers in Puddlecombe that take walk-ins on a Sunday?
Places people mention for that include:
The Clipper Club: walk-ins welcome, open Sundays, skin fades and beard trims listed on its website.
Curl & Comb Salon: appointments only, specialises in curly hair.
The barber named first states the exact things the person asked about (walk-ins, Sunday hours) in words, where they can be read.
What we don't promise
We never guarantee a place in an AI answer. AI assistants decide for themselves, and nobody can promise what they will say. What we sell is careful checking, real fixes and honest measurement.
Four things you can do this week
- Ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions above for your own town, more than once each.
- Note which salons or barbers are named and what their Google profiles say: services, hours, photos, booking links.
- Put your service and price list on your website as text, using the words clients use.
- Check your Google Business Profile hours, walk-in policy and booking link are right.

Start with the free check: we ask ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini the kind of questions above about your business and email you what they said. If you want more, every service has a fixed price.
Questions
We take bookings through an app. Is that enough?
It helps people book, but the details inside an app are not always easy for others to read. Put your main services, prices and hours on your own website and Google profile too, and keep them matching.
Do reviews that mention a stylist by name help?
Reviews that describe the service help customers choose, and they give AI assistants more specific detail to draw on. We cannot promise any single factor will change what an AI says.
Can you guarantee AI will recommend my salon?
No. Nobody honestly can. We check where you stand, fix what is likely holding you back and measure again.
