The AI visibility checklist
Everything we would look at first, on one page. Tick through it on screen, or print it and work through it with whoever runs your website. None of it needs special software, just a bit of time.
Free, no sign-up. What you type or tick stays in your browser: we do not see it or store it.

How to use this checklist
Work top to bottom: the Google Business Profile and your website usually matter most for a local business, so they come first. Most people can get through the first two sections in an afternoon.
Every item is something you can check and fix yourself. If an item does not apply (you have no premises, say), skip it. The count at the top is just how many boxes you have ticked: it is a to-do list, not a score, and finishing it does not guarantee any AI assistant will recommend you.
Print it with the button above; the printed version leaves out the menus and adds space to write notes.
Want to see what AI really says?
A self-check only gets you so far. Our free check asks ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini the kind of questions your customers ask, and emails you, in plain English, whether you were named and who was named instead.
Step 1 of 4: Your trade
What you get
- A handful of real customer-style questions about your trade and area, put to ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
- A plain-English summary by email: were you named, and who was named instead.
- An honest view on whether a full audit is worth it for you. Sometimes it is not, and we will say so.
Questions
Is this the same list you use in the audit?
It covers the same basics. The paid audit adds the part you cannot easily do yourself at scale: asking 25 tailored questions several times across the major assistants and comparing you with who gets named instead.
Are my ticks saved?
No. They stay on this page while it is open and are not sent anywhere. Print the list if you want to keep track on paper.
