For electricians

Get your electrical business recommended by AI

When a landlord needs an electrical safety report or a driver wants a home charger fitted, some will ask an AI assistant who to call. The answer usually names just a few electricians. Here is what tends to decide who gets named, and what you can check yourself.

The check is free. Paid help has fixed prices: the full audit is £395 + VAT, one-off (pilot £195 + VAT for our first 5 clients). See all prices.

Questions customers ask AI

Typical examples of what people type or say to an AI assistant when they need electricians:

  • “Who can do an EICR for my rental flat in [your town]?”
  • “Is there an electrician near me who installs EV chargers?”
  • “I need an emergency electrician in [your town] tonight. Who can come out?”
  • “Who can replace an old fuse box near me?”

What AI assistants tend to look at

  • Your Google Business Profile: main category Electrician, every service you offer listed (EICRs, consumer unit upgrades, EV chargers, rewires), the towns you cover and whether you do emergency work.
  • Clear pages on your website for the jobs people ask about by name, such as EICRs for landlords or EV charger installation, with the areas you cover.
  • Your scheme membership, if you have one (for example NICEIC or NAPIT): stated on your website and matching your entry on the scheme's own search.
  • Reviews that mention the job, such as "EICR done for our rental, clear report". Ask every happy customer, in a simple and consistent way.
  • The same business name, area and phone number on your website, Google, Facebook and any directories you use.

What a good answer looks like

Example only: fictional town and businesses

Who can do an EICR for my rental in Puddlecombe?

Electricians that mention landlord safety reports locally include:

Sparkwell Electrical: EICRs for landlords and letting agents, covers Puddlecombe and the surrounding villages.

Lampwick & Sons: rewires and consumer unit upgrades.

The business named first describes the exact job the person asked about, in the words they used.

What we don't promise

We never guarantee a place in an AI answer. AI assistants decide for themselves, and nobody can promise what they will say. What we sell is careful checking, real fixes and honest measurement.

Four things you can do this week

  1. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity two or three of the questions above for your own town, more than once each.
  2. Note which electricians are named instead of you and what their profiles and websites say that yours do not.
  3. Make sure each service you want to be found for appears, in plain words, on your Google profile and your website.
  4. Ask your last five happy customers for a review that mentions the job they had done.

Start with the free check: we ask ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini the kind of questions above about your business and email you what they said. If you want more, every service has a fixed price.

Questions

Does being NICEIC or NAPIT registered help with AI?

We cannot promise any single factor will change what an AI says. Being clear and consistent about your registration does help customers trust you, and it gives AI assistants accurate facts to repeat.

Should I have separate pages for EICRs and EV chargers?

If those are jobs you want, yes. A clear page per service, saying where you work, makes it easier for both people and AI assistants to match you to the question.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?

No. Nobody honestly can. We check where you stand, fix what is likely holding you back and measure again, so you can see what changed.
