Is your business ready to be recommended by AI?

Eight quick questions about the groundwork that helps AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini find, understand and describe a local business. Answer honestly; you get a rough score and a short list of what to fix first.

  1. 1. Is your Google Business Profile complete: the right main category, every service you offer, the areas you cover and accurate hours?
  2. 2. Does your website have a page, or a clear section, for each main service, saying which towns or areas you cover?
  3. 3. Are your services, area and contact details written as normal text on your website, not only inside images or PDFs?
  4. 4. Are your business name, address or area and phone number exactly the same everywhere you are listed?
  5. 5. Have you had new reviews in the last three months that mention the job and the place?
  6. 6. Do you know for sure that your website does not block search engines or AI crawlers?
  7. 7. Have you asked ChatGPT or Gemini, the way a customer would, who they recommend for your trade in your town?
  8. 8. Is your business mentioned on other local websites, such as a trade association, local group, supplier or local news page?

How the score works

Each Yes scores 2, each Not sure scores 1 and each No scores 0, so the most you can score is 16. That is all: there is no hidden weighting and no comparison with other businesses, because we do not have honest data to compare against.

Treat the result as a rough self-check of your groundwork, not a measurement. A perfect score does not mean an AI assistant will recommend you, and a low score does not mean it never will. AI assistants make their own choices, and their answers change from one ask to the next.

Why "Not sure" scores 1: if you are not sure, it is worth checking, but it may already be fine. The list of gaps includes your Not sure answers so you can check them.

Want to see what AI really says?

A self-check only gets you so far. Our free check asks ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini the kind of questions your customers ask, and emails you, in plain English, whether you were named and who was named instead.

Step 1 of 4: Your trade

What’s your trade?

One tap. We use it to write the questions your customers would ask.

What you get

  • A handful of real customer-style questions about your trade and area, put to ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
  • A plain-English summary by email: were you named, and who was named instead.
  • An honest view on whether a full audit is worth it for you. Sometimes it is not, and we will say so.

Questions

Is this quiz a measurement of my AI visibility?

No. It is a rough self-check of the groundwork. Only asking AI assistants real customer questions, several times, shows what they actually say.

Do you store my answers?

No. The quiz runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or to our analytics.

What should I do after the quiz?

Work through the gaps it lists, starting at the top, then use the customer question builder or our free check to see what AI assistants actually say about you.
